Vision StatementThe Design Branding™ process starts with your Vision Statement. This is your business’s guiding image of success, formed in terms of your contribution to society. Imagine this. You get onto an elevator and Oprah Winfrey joins you. You have sixty seconds to tell (sell) her about you and what you do, hoping that she would showcase your products on her TV show and in her magazine. What would you tell her about your company? Write it down – no more than 200 words – this will become the backbone of your strategic plan, business plan and marketing plan. i.e. Your VISION STATEMENT. Design ThemeWe work together to decide on a specific design theme, and a color palette is established to guide the creative process. A lot of thought goes into this process. Of all the forms of non-verbal communication, color is the most instantaneous method of conveying messages and meanings. The colors that we see are invariable influenced by what we feel. In order to establish an immediate message, color combinations should contain visual color clues that trigger specific responses—those that best express the intention and/or purpose of your product or service. What is your message: serene?, earthy?, spiritual?, romantic?, powerful?, elegant?, the list goes on. Business Planning Documentation
- Strategic Planning is the formal consideration of an organization's future course. All strategic plans deals with at least one of three key questions:
1. "What do you do?"
2. "For whom do you do it?"
3. "How do you excel?"
In business strategic planning, the third question is better phrased "How can you beat or avoid competition?". In many organizations, this is viewed as a process for determining where an organization is going over the next year or more—typically 3 to 5 years. In order to determine where it is going, the organization needs to know exactly where it stands, then determines where it wants to go and how it will get there. - A Business Plan is a formal statement of a largely enforced business goal, the reasons why they are believed attainable, and the plan for reaching those goals. It may also contain background information about the organization or team attempting to reach those goals. Business plans typically focus on financial goals.
- A Marketing Plan is a written document that details the actions necessary to achieve one or more marketing objectives.
- Internal Control and Procedures Manuals are not only excellent documents to have, but in many cases, it is the law. Internal Control and Procedures are a set of documents that describe an organization's policies for operation and the procedures necessary to fulfill the policies. They are often initiated because of some external requirement, such as environmental compliancy or other governmental regulations, such as the American Sarbanes-Oxley Act requiring full openness in accounting practices.
